POWER MAT PILATES

Power Mat Pilates folds together classic mat Pilates, contemporary science, and killer playlists to deliver a whole body, deep core blasting class! Get ready to celebrate failure…muscle failure that is…as we work with precision and quality movement for 60 minutes. The schedule includes both HEAT (90+ degrees in the SOUL studio) and a Non-Heated (in the temperature controlled LIFT studio) versions of this format. A towel is highly recommended for the Heated Power Pilates class and we always recommend students drink water before class and during class! Some Pilates experience is recommended before jumping into this class, so check out Yogalates or any barre class a few times before signing up for Power Mat Pilates. Yogalates takes the best of Pilates and Yoga and fuses them into one fun and challenging class. After warming up we will add movement to poses then hold the pose for several breaths. We will focus on the core-strengthening aspect of Pilates and the stretching, balance work of yoga. A perfect match made on the mat! Great class to prepare for other yoga or pilates classes at SOULIFT. *We offer heated and non-heated yogalates class options.
